THE GLOBAL GOALS ARE IN BUSINESS
In the face of multiple systemic, interconnected crises, the solutions require ALL OF US to play our part.
The Global Goals simply cannot be achieved without businesses. Through their core operations, financial commitments, employee networks, consumer-facing platforms and high-level influence, companies have a crucial role to play in accelerating progress towards the Goals.
Every business and every employee can make a vital contribution to creating a more peaceful, equitable and prosperous future.

BUSINESS AS A FORCE FOR GOOD
Sustainability Hour is here!
Introducing a new volunteering opportunity! Sustainability Hour has a simple mission: Help people volunteer in schools, so that they can inspire children to become changemakers. It's a chance to do something brave, fun and genuinely impactful. One hour to start a journey that could last a lifetime.
The SDGs Are Good for Business
The Sustainable Development Goals were developed with input from businesses. Companies helped shape the agenda, agreeing in principle to hold themselves accountable for their part in achieving the Goals by 2030. The resources, innovation and adaptability of the private sector are critical for attaining the ambitious set of 17 Global Goals and 169 targets.
The World Bank's Historic Opportunity to Champion People and Planet
The world has a new bank manager-- Ajay Banga. Congratulations Ajay! As the new World Bank President, Ajay has a unique opportunity to be a champion for people and planet.
In a world characterized by interconnected economies, global challenges, and the need for sustainable development, Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), like the World Bank, play a crucial role.
And yet, the model that MDBs are built on, is still reflective of times gone by. You see, these institutions were created almost 80 years ago by a handful of Western countries. Today, these countries control billions of dollars and set the rules around borrowing, loans and debt.
